Q. On how many workstations can I install CAST for one copy I buy?

 

A. Unlimited for the branch you buy for. All clinic details (i.e: address, name) are static parameters. You cannot install the same copy to other branches. Only one database is allowed for every license.

 

Q. How is the quality? Or if I’m not satisfied with this software, can I get my money back?

 

A. This software is already been used since 2004. The best opinion should comes from you. Kindly get the DEMO version first for FOC and decide on the quality and whether it suits your needs before you decide to purchase it. We will not refund you for any chargeable versions you have paid.

 

Q. I have nothing in my clinic to install the software. How much it will cost to get the application installed and running?

 

A. You will need 2 PCs, a hub, a printer and cable for networking. We can assist you to get all these equipments, set it up and install the software for you. All of this will cost you not more than RM7000.00 (2 PCs, hub, cabling, printer and CAST Software Enterprise Version)

 

 

Q. How about viruses and data loss?

 

A. It is possible to happen and not only for this application. To minimize the impact, you need to run a data backup procedure which will backup your data at the end of the day. A built in function in CAST will assist you to perform this backup.

 

 

Q. Any different between DEMO version and commercial versions?

 

A. Yes. Patient number allowed to be registered is only 100. Message box will be displayed each time you register a new patient or save a consultation. You are also not allowed to put your clinic parameters (i.e: name, address) in this demo version. You are also not allowed to delete any registered patient (which will reduce the patient number). No limitation in term of functionalities and no expiry date.

 

 

 

Q. Can I ask for customization or changes?

 

A. Yes, but we will decide if this can be done or not. If the modification/new function only suits your need, we will charge extra fee for it, if we agree to do the changes. If the changes is applicable for all clinics, we will do it for free

 

 

Q. How about my existing patient record?

 

A. You have two options to handle this. First, transfer all records from card to CAST database. And clear the file cabinet. But, this is not practical and requires a lot of extra work.

 

Second option is to register only those coming to your clinic after you have installed CAST. This will include new patient and your existing patient. For your existing patient, transfer their information from card to CAST. And keep this card aside - to be housekeep later. Keep doing this for a period of time, let say 6 months. After that you can decide whether to housekeep all the cards and clear the file cabinet. Your regular patient or those within your vicinity most probably will visit your clinic at least once in this 6 months period.
